A personal project that shows views of a suburban area with a larger illustrated city in the background, and a city area with more illustrated buildings being added into the background. The project encapsulates the emotions I have with wanting to transition to a bigger city. Using a Holga camera to take the pictures and developing the images through traditional film processes, I added an outline of a city skyline using tick marks to show a sketched idea of where I want to be. The process shows the combination of photography mixed with a traditional process in a illustrative form.
